Microsoft campus in India shows why it is so important to reform education in the U.S.

I’d love to see the U.S. make math and science a bigger priority in our schools. India has 1700 schools producing graduates in engineering and technology. This is why companies like Microsoft are finding India such a great place to open research centers. Microsoft actively recruits Indian workers via their website. This is not about cheap workers–this is about trained professionals. We need to make sure our kids can compete for the next round of jobs. While state organizations argue about “accountability,” the ultimate accountability is delivered with job offers.
